Topic: Finding the Balance: Public Health and Water Quality
Date: June 25th-July 1st
Location: Montclair State University
Cost per student/per school: $100 commitment fee per student, no teacher fee, no other fees for programming or housing.
Alabama Regional Summit on Water Resources- open to any high school/youth group in greater Birmingham or Alabama.* Four students and one teacher per school.
Application deadline FEBRUARY 12th, 2010.

Date: July 25-30th
Location: Alabama School of Fine Arts and Birmingham Botanic Gardens
Cost per student/per school: $100 commitment fee per student, no teacher fee.
*Please note that housing is not provided for students outside Birmingham. Keystone will work with out of town groups to secure free housing with host students in the Birmingham area.
Michigan Regional Summit- Michigan high schools only, 4 students & 1 teacher per school. APPLICATIONS DUE JANUARY 15, 2010.

Topic: Energy Innovation in the United States
Date: June 13-19th, 2010
Location: Keystone Science School campus, Keystone, Colorado
Cost per student/per school: $500 per student, plus airfare to Denver, TEACHER FREE.
NCSSSMST Member school applications MUST be submitted and approved by heads of school.
Colorado Regional Summit- open to any youth group or group of students within Alamosa, El Paso or Denver Counties, minimum of 4 students and 1 adult per youth group, maximum 8 per youth group can attend. Program filled.

Topic: Youth Violence Prevention in Colorado
Date: March-April 2010
Location: Keystone Science School campus, Keystone, Colorado
Cost per student/per school: none, student pay for transportation to and from Keystone. A $25 commitment from each particpant is required to hold your space adn will be refunded to each particpant at the conclusion of the four day summit.
Colorado Middle School Youth Congress: New for 2010! Kids Outdoors open to anyone ages 11-13, . Minority and low income students strongly encouraged to apply.
Participants in the NEW adventure program will hike, camp, bike, and raft in the Colorado Rockies. Using Keystone Science School's campus as our base camp, students will venture out each day on a new adventure, learn the science behind the topic, meet with local experts such as forest service personnel, Search and Rescue teams, local guides and outfitters, officers from the Division of Wildlife and more! Lively discussions around a campfire will follow each day's activities as the students explore youth ideas for engaging this and future genreations in connecting with the outdoors.
